Pediatric Motor Playground® (PMP) was founded by two school-based occupational therapists that were looking for a more effective, efficient, and fun way to provide needed instruction and service to all pre-k and school age children.
The current focus of education supports higher academic standards, thus placing increased demands on children. As a result, many pre-k and elementary school students lack the necessary fundamental motor development and/or skills to successfully participate and perform in their respective educational environments.
In an effort to bridge this ever expanding gap, we at PMP created the Educational Fitness Center® that adheres to a comprehensive program, Motor Curriculum© 2006. This program targets the development and improvement of these essential skills via small group instruction.

Children enrolled in our program have shown significant improvements in the following areas as observed by our instructors and agreed with by the children’s parents:
In addition, Pediatric Motor Playground® set out to create the most effective and efficient writing program available. As a result, the Rapid Writing Program ©2010 was developed.
On our quest, we designed our signature writing templates and unique instructional technique. Our program will improve a child's handwriting and has proven successful with countless children who struggled with other programs and/or therapy. The Rapid Writing Program ©2010 is a hallmark of our company and an invaluable tool for quickly improving letter formation, spacing, line placement and legibility.
